The Methodist Hospital System Signs Agreement With MedAssets®Atlanta, GA Agreement includes group purchasing, supply chain analytics, and revenue cycle-supply chain data linkage MedAssets, Inc. announced today that The Methodist Hospital System (Methodist) in Houston, Texas has signed an agreement for group purchasing, supply chain analytics, and revenue cycle - supply chain data linkage. The multi-year agreement is effective June 1, 2007. Methodist will utilize the capabilities of MedAssets Supply Chain Systems and MedAssets Analytical Systems for supply chain management and analytics. These tools and services include group purchasing and item file data conditioning to improve data integrity, usability, and ultimately decrease costs. Proprietary supply chain technology, Strategic Information for Pharmacy, will be used to improve efficiencies and decrease costs in pharmacy purchasing. MedAssets Net Revenue Systems’ CrossWalk® tool will link Methodist’s supply item master to their chargemaster, in order to ensure charges for all patient identifiable supplies accurately cover costs with a defensible markup.
